Puzzle mechanics on the record

Scale language from the store

Steam’s about text describes a massive puzzle adventure with more than one thousand hand-crafted puzzles, dozens of game mechanics, and hundreds of hours of unique gameplay. It says each puzzle builds on the last and introduces new mechanics. Those figures are publisher/developer marketing copy, not a count performed by this atlas.

Non-linear pace

Official copy says you explore at your own pace, revisit worlds, and return to challenges; hitting a roadblock in one realm can mean pivoting to another. That is a design claim from store and Arc Games text, not a tested routing guide.

Named design foundations

Steam states the foundation is built upon four titles: Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes and Mirror Isles by Alan Hazelden; Promesst 1–3 by Sean Barrett; and Heroes of Sokoban (1, 2, & 3) by Jonah Ostroff. It also names design contributions from Zach Polansky (Enigmash), Patrick Traynor (Patrick’s Parabox), Marc ten Bosch (Miegakure), and several others, including Twitch followers. Steam describes those games as inspiration and the beginning of the design, not as a 1:1 copy of each original’s full rule set.

Unknown beside this fact: How those systems combine in any specific room is not documented on the store page.
